Licorice, very pleasant on the palate, is also digestive, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, expectorant and protective of the gastric mucosa. Preparing this precious infusion is very simple, just boil the water in a teapot, once it boils, add a teaspoon of herbal tea per person and let it boil for another 3 minutes.
The next step is to close the teapot and leave the contents to infuse for a minimum of five to a maximum of ten minutes. There is no need to add sugar, add honey to improve the soothing properties of the cough.
