Magical Calabria: a tribute to AROHA
An ancient legend tells that near Tiriolo, where the two Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas almost join, lived the nymph Arocha. Daughter of Crati and Targine, belonging to the choir of the goddess Artemis. One day, a shepherd, named Petraro, saw her while she was washing at a source.
He completely lost his mind, approached her several times, but was always away from the nymph. He first fell into a desperate swoon, remaining sleepless and without food for several days and then, blinded by anger at yet another refusal, he used violence and ran away.
Arocha, humiliated and offended, closed in deep pain. And she cried, cried, cried so much, without stopping for a moment, that Zeus, the Sun God, took pity on her and turned her into a river: the current Corax.
Our Pink Grapefruit Gin contains the scents of our magical Calabria, intense, fruity, very aromatic, sometimes pungent with hints of flowers and grapefruit.
