Cleto is a small village halfway between the sea and the hills of the Tyrrhenian coast of Cosenza. This small village has always been famous for its expanses of centuries-old olive trees which, thanks to an ideal microclimate, produce olives of the highest quality. A company that directly produces oil exclusively from its own olives thanks to the presence of an internal mill.
The carolea has always been the cultivar of the Spina family that from generation to generation has lovingly cared for the 1800 centuries-old olive trees present in the company. The olive harvest takes place when the fruit has reached the right ripeness and at the right scale they are shaken and transported to the company oil mill. The transformation takes place with the aid of a modern continuous cold cycle crusher to guarantee and preserve all the properties of the oil.
