Die Rocca Imperiale-Zitrone ist eine wertvolle Zitrone (seit dem 17. Jahrhundert), die dank des starken Vorkommens von Limonen, einer in der Zitronenschale enthaltenen chemischen Substanz, und natürlichen Essenzen ätherischer Öle mit besonderem Aroma auch zur Herstellung von Kosmetika verwendet wird und Parfüme.
